Really Woolly Kids - a Review

Trusting in the Shepherd

From the moment Grandma Tabitha welcomes your child into the wonderful world of Woollyville, you know that this video is fantastic. There are two episodes on the DVD that both talk about facing our fears and trusting God. The first episode is about how scared Gracie was on her Ewe Scout campout. The second episode is about Jacob being afraid of a new boy in school. Grandma Tabitha and their dad, Samuel, teach them both Psalm 23:4 which is all about not being afraid because God is always watching over us. After each of the episodes there is a song teaching the verse as well. This is a fantastic way to help kids memorize scripture and learn the application to their own lives.

Part of why I love Really Woolly Kids as much as I do is why they are who they are.
From the website,
"Really Woolly Kids is about living life in the Pasture with Jesus, our Shepherd. Since the Bible is full of examples where people are described as sheep, we believe this is a wonderful metaphor for teaching kids about the loving kindness of Jesus through our relationship with Him as His sheep. (John 10:11, 14)"

Really Woolly Kids doesn't stop with just video teaching as they also have an interactive website for kids to help them learn in a new and fun way. There are weekly scriptures to memorize, games, videos, and so much more. You can check out the website here: Really Woolly Kids .
