A Review of Kaleidoscope by Patsy Clairmont

"The word kaleidoscope means beautiful shapes to look at and examine. Proverbs is a four-mirrored kaleidoscope that gives a parade of images." This is the explanation that Patsy Clairmont gives for titling her book about Proverbs "Kaleidoscope" and it truly fits as she gives a fresh perspective on a timeless collection of truth.

I have been a fan of Patsy Clairmont's as I have read several of her writings in Women of Faith collective books. This is the first book I have read that she has authored and I loved it!

She dives into Proverbs in such a way that makes you want to unpack them even more. She does it with honesty and humor. She shares some really great personal stories as well. Loved the story of her Facebook friend and the word board filled with encouraging and uplifting words during a difficult time.

Each chapter has bonus sections called "Bits and Pieces" and "Held to the Light." The first section is questions to make you really examine the Proverb and how it applies to you. The second section gives more scripture on the subject which is wonderful.

I highly recommend "Kaleidoscope" to anyone who wants to examine the facets of the Book of Proberbs. Patsy Clairmont is a delightful writer and shares her heart so beautifully.
