So blessed to connect with you! Often read from the Amplified Bible Elizabeth!
Love this part in that translation...
My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness.
Was so excited to find you Barbie! So love what you and everyone shares there! Thanks so much for hosting and I am looking forward to getting to know you better! Blessings!
After so much sadness, in the last couple of days, it's a blessing to be here. "Our God is a healer"! May the families and friends of the shooting know continued strength and love. In Jesus' name, Amen!
The photograph, verse, reflection and prayer all fit seamlessly. Thank you for sharing. May everyone arise from darkness with greater faith and devotion.

After you commented on my blog, Not Just A Name, I visited here to check out yours. Lovely place to visit -- we share so much in common including the state of TN. Born and raised there, I moved with my husband to OR in 1983. Also, I've enjoyed children's ministries over the years, I love reading and review books for WaterBrook Multnomah/Blogging for Books and I too am saved by His grace! Looking forward to staying in touch (I'm now following you!). Loved your verse here and the image of His light shining through. :)
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashley! Sometimes the pretty pictures happen right in my own backyard :)
DeleteYes, it's His grace. Not much else can ever be anticipated as a survival skill. I rely on it, instant by instant.
ReplyDeleteSo very true Caryjo. Moment by moment is all He needs. Been there too friend.

ReplyDeleteThanks Angie! Sometimes I put these kinds of verses all over the house to give me a boost through the day. My boys love finding all my notes :)
