My Thoughts
One of the resources that I like to use during my quiet time in the mornings is a daily devotional. It not only guides me through a reading each day, but also shares insight and teaching to go along with the reading. There are suggested additional readings included as well in some devotionals.
When I found out that Joanna Weaver wrote a devotional, I was thrilled as I love her books on Mary and Martha. I tend to lean towards the busy like Martha and long to be more like Mary taking the time to sit at His feet. This book is such an encouragement to do just that each day. If you are looking for a devotional, then I highly recommend that you get this one.
About the Book
You were made for more than serving God; you were made to know
Him.
Intimacy with God—to know Him and be known by Him. It is what
our hearts desperately need, but somehow life conspires to keep us busy and
distracted.

I realize our actions are important (Martha) - but I am learning that it is the love, the sitting at our Savior's feet - (Mary) - that is so much more important. It sounds like a wonderful devotional! Thanks for sharing it!
