A True Heart & Skillful Hands

He chose his servant David, calling him from the sheep pens.
He took David from tending the ewes and lambs and made him
the shepherd of Jacob’s descendants—God’s own people, Israel.
He cared for them with a true heart and led them with skillful hands.
Psalm 78:70-72

  1. This Scripture is beautiful, Wendy...thinking of how David was faithful in the little things, to the place God has called them currently and how God took him to the next level because of his faithfulness and heart towards God. #Lovely

    1. It's such an encouraging scripture. Was thinking how we as moms are tending sheep with our children. How He sees it all. Then in ministry as well. So love His Word. Blessings friend!

  3. What a neat photo and what an amazing God. He knows where we are. He is ever mindful of our calling. God took David from "tending the sheep" to shepherding His people. With God it is all good, because He is in it all. Thank you for this powerful reminder.

  9. It's amazing how God uses us from very basic lives to reach out and protect and care for His people. No one expects it... neither us or the others ... when those doors are opened. David started with an appearance of next to nothing, just a low-end worker. NOW? A massive leader and member of the family of our Lord. Good lesson for all of us.

    Thanks.
