I have started a new series on Wednesdays that will give me an opportunity to share what I am reading. This may vary from week to week as I tend to read multiple books at a time.
I recently started reading
Creating Ever-Cool: A Marketer's Guide to a Kid's Heart by Gene Del Vecchio.
It was a recommended read by Dale Hudson when he shared in a post about books his team is reading which you can find here.
This book is about how companies are fighting for a kid's heart and the winning strategies they are using. It talks about how some items were fads and how others are ever-cool which means they last through the years. I am now reading the chapters which detail the psyche of boys and girls which is really fascinating.
What are you reading?
Hey Wendy, Gene is actually to be speaking on a webinar that I have planned. He is going to talk about attracting kids to your ministry. Check it out: www.ChildrensMinistryLive.com/inspired
ReplyDeleteJust fnished In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Day. Now I am reading Shaped by the Story. I have several books going at the same time. Can't quite keep up with you though. :)
ReplyDeleteBrandon - that is so cool! I am really enjoying his book. It isn't one that you can breeze through as it is jam packed with great stuff. Will definitely be checking out your webinar!
ReplyDeleteTammy - Loved that book! Mark Batterson is one of my favorite authors. I just finished reading Soul Print and it's fantastic as well.
