I absolutely love what See the Light is doing not only to teach, but to inspire children in a fresh and creative way. Watching "The Gift of Love" was definitely a treat and one that I am looking forward to sharing with others as well.
From the See the Light website,
"Kids learn best when they can see, listen, touch, and do. See The Light is a new series of DVDs, curriculum, and other products created specifically to ignite children's multi-sensory learning of foundational Bible Stories through art."
"The Gift of Love" not only told the story of Christmas through drawings, but includes art lessons on the DVD too. These aren't your average lessons though as the artists also show similar artwork and teaches about those. These DVDs can be used for homeschoolers as there is such a wealth of information and creativity included, but the storytelling part of the DVD is a wonderful way to share biblical truths in children's ministry as well.
