I have started a new series on Wednesdays that will give me an opportunity to share what I am reading. This may vary from week to week as I tend to read multiple books at a time.
I was able to read Tribes by Seth Godin over the weekend and it took me less than a day to read it as I just couldn't put it down. He mixes stories of people in leadership with his belief that we are all called to leadership in one form or another. He definitely changed my view on the definition of a heretic. I highly recommend this book for everyone. It just isn't a book for business leaders, but for anyone leading anyone in anyway.
This is one of my favorite quotes from the book:
"The secret of leadership is simple: Do what you believe in. Paint a picture of the future. Go there. People will follow."
