Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
This verse has popped up alot for me lately.
Delight means to take great pleasure and joy in. Another way of saying the first part of this verse is...take great pleasure in the Lord. There are so many ways of doing that as essentially it is calling us to worship Him with great joy.
Desire means to wish or long for. For me this verse is speaking to my desire to be close to the Lord. My desire to do His will and follow Him with all of my heart.
