Trust

I have been thinking alot about this word the last week and what it means to me. Not so much in only how it relates to people, but more importantly how it relates to my relationship with God. People will let you down. But that isn't how it is with God. He will never let us down. He always "has my back" and wants the best for me. How do I know that about Him? He tells me that all thru His Word. This verse has been popping up constantly for me the past few days.

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Am I trusting Him for everything and in everything? Am I bringing all my cares and laying them at His feet? I know that I can trust Him with everything in my life...family, friends, work, etc.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

I am seeking Your Face Lord. In God I trust.
