You Don't Want to Miss The Kidmin Conference

Ok I am going to get all "Girl Scout-y" on you for a minute...
(yes I sported the green dress and badge sash)

Here is my main reason for you not missing this conference:

"Make new friends,
but keep the old.
One is silver,
the other is gold."

(Do you have that song in your head now? You're welcome.)

But seriously...
One of the best things about attending the Kidmin Conference is
making new friends and spending time with old ones.

Serving in children's ministry can feel lonely, but once you get to the conference you realize that there are so many people just like you - loving kids and wanting so much to share Jesus with them. You will have so many opportunities to connect with others in conversation and prayer throughout the conference.
(You might even get an extra session with friends at a burger joint as a bonus...right Amy, Henry, Andy, Christiaan, Jesse, and Kelly?)

If that isn't enough to convince you, then how about the opportunity to hear from some incredible speakers (ummm...Beth Moore), worship led by amazing musicians (did I mention Gungor?), and some of the best in children's ministry teaching and training in workshops and half-tracks (sign up for anything by Amy Dolan, Danielle Bell, and Jenny Funderburke...seriously).

Now head on over to the Kidmin Conference website and sign yourself up.
Hey just go ahead and sign up your team.
You don't want to miss it!
Can't wait to see you there!

  1. It's always good to go to conferences like that. You foster friendships and help people out at the same time. I guess if there's one like that nearby, I should join, right? :)

Oh yes, I can still vividly remember loving my girl scout uniform :)

    1. I think any opportunity to connect with others is a fantastic idea! Years ago when my boys were little I joined a mommy playgroup that I found online. It was sanity saving and I made lifelong friends through it. The same goes for conferences. It is an opportunity to create connections with people who do what we do.
