She came running toward me, her face beaming, shouting over all the other kid chatter, "Ms. Wendy! Ms. Wendy! I have to tell you something!"
I knew it had to be a pretty big something as she is usually so quiet and reserved. So we went aside to a place where I could focus completely on what she had to share.
"I asked Jesus to be my Forever Friend last weekend."
She attended her dad's church and during service she had gone forward to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
"When the preacher talked about getting saved, I just couldn't sit in my seat any longer. I just knew I had to get up and go. I knew I wanted Him in my heart right then. It was like He was tugging me towards Him."
