Monday morning we awoke to a surprise package near our fireplace.
Santa sent us our very own elf on a shelf.
Zachary named her Zoey.
Later that day Zachary and Zoey sat down for a chat.
He shared his Christmas wishes with her and told her a bit about our family.
We awoke the next morning to find her watching a movie and eating popcorn.
Wednesday morning we found Zoey playing Uno with a few friends.
She was winning with only one card left.
Zoey had made a snowman out of marshmallows Thursday morning.
Chocolate chip cookies were Zoey's gift to us Friday morning.
She took a little bite out of one of them.
She went a little yarn-crazy this morning.
We found her hanging from the ceiling fan.
We are having such fun with our new friend Zoey.
We can't wait to see what she has in store for us in the weeks ahead.
Do you have your own elf on a shelf?
Where have you been finding your elf each day and what has he been up to?
AH! I love the whole Elf on the Shelf tradition. I can't wait until I have my own kids to do this with. People are so creative with it! Including you! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kara! It is just so much fun to have her with us this year. And the look of wonder and excitement of my Zachary each day is priceless. Blessings friend!

I don't have one, but I like reading about them (and I love your picture wall!).
ReplyDeleteI took my son to get a haircut yesterday and in a magazine read about Elf on the Shelf adventures in a magazine. Two that stuck out were B-Elf-Tee (sandwich...that made me laugh), and someone actually froze their elf into a bowl of ice for a North Pole Jacuzzi, lol.
I like all of yours, my favorite is the marshmallow snowman!
