A Man on His Knees

I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer.

1 Timothy 2:8

There is something about seeing a man on his knees in prayer. I can't say for sure why I am so overwhelmed when I witness a man bowed down before God, but it touches my heart and brings tears to my eyes everytime.

Maybe it's because the strongest men I know bend their knees in complete surrender to Him. They cry out to Him for their families, our church, and the lost. They beg Him for the strength and wisdom to lead at home, work, and in the world.

These incredibly strong men are able to lift others up 

because they have humbly knelt before God.

I am so blessed to be married to one of these men.

I am also blessed to be pastored by and have a church family filled with these men.

Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.
