Yummy in Their Tummy - Shrimp Scampi & Linguini

My boys have asked that I share
some of their favorite meals.
These meals are quick and easy to make
and they love them.

Today's recipe is

Shrimp Scampi & Linguini

Ingredients

2 - 12oz. boxes of Gorton's Shrimp Scampi
2 - 16oz. boxes of linguini

Boil both boxes of linguini until tender.

Empty both boxes of shrimp into a microwave safe bowl and cover.
The time frame for cooking on the back of the box
was shorter than it actually took to cook the shrimp.
I put them in for 10 minutes, stirred them,
and then put them back in for an additional 10 minutes.
*Shrimp will be fully cooked when coloring is opaque white inside.*

Stir shrimp and sauce.
Pour over linguini and serve.

We usually have salad and biscuits with our shrimp scampi and linguini.

Not only is this meal super quick and easy to make, but it is also inexpensive.
Including the salad and biscuits, this meal costs under $20.

Enjoy!

What is an easy and inexpensive meal that you make for your family?
