I am fascinated with these hands.
The hands of these wonderful men
(both big and small)
that God has placed in my life.
Hands that work to fix things and make them new again.
Hands that plant seeds in the hearts of our sons.
Hands that have held mine with love for almost 20 years.
These hands of my sons.
Hands that strum a guitar and make beautiful music.
Hands that hold many books and share the adventures.
Hands that play many games and teach the secrets to win.
Oh how I love these hands...
and the stories they hold.
Thankful for these hands that hold my heart today.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.Psalm 118:1
What are you thankful for today?

Wow! I love this post! I am coming from the Mommy Brain Mixer, and I am so happy that I clicked on your blog! There really is something about the hands of my men that make me feel whole. My sons while rough with their brothers are sweet and gentle when they touch me, rubbing my shoulders and wrapping their arms around my waist in small gestures of affection. It is definitely something to be thankful for!

ReplyDeletelovely! Thank you for sharing at the Thursday hop xo
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! I love your post. Reminds me of the quilts that have the heart in hand symbol. It's so true that we bond to the image of our loved one's hands. Normally we don't think of it, but my father passed away this year, and I can see his hands in my minds eye so clearly. They did so much for us!
