In the Midst

When we come together,
He joins us.
In that place where we are,
He is in our midst.
It isn't just community with each other,
but with Him as well.
We share that place.
With each other.
With Him.

Can I pray for you today?

  3. I'm having all kinds of thoughts about how He even meets with us in the midst of our messes, and when He does, we just start to shed all that soul debris. Loving this. So glad you're sharing in the stillness, friend.

  15. Thank you for your words. I'm a first time visitor from New Life Steward and I'm glad I stopped by. I love when you said that He meets us in the place where we are...that is so true. He comes to us, what a miracle! The God of the universe, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings comes down to us to meet us where we are, regardless of our lowly state...He is there...that is the God we serve...that is the God we love. Thanks again for your reflections, have a blessed day!

  16. Such a good reminder. It always amazes me when comments (on other blogs! Not here!) veer off into snarkiness--I think it's too easy for us to forget that He's here.

    1. Oh Sheila you are so right. Maybe if we all remembered that He is here, we would be less apt to get snarky. Reminded that there is power in our words. They hold the power of life and death. Thank you for sharing! Blessings!
