You Know...THOSE People

We meet people both online and in person that just make us want to spend more time with them.

You know…those people.

Those people that just have something about them that you just want to be near them in hope that it rubs off a little. Those people that when they talk about their passions it is contagious. Those people that when you read something they have written or have a conversation with them and you know that you have to be around them and hear more.

I have said many times over the last year that my “dream lunch” date would include Joy Bowen and Sue Miller. After hearing them speak last year at the Orange Conference, I knew that I would love to hear more about their lives and ministries. They are just incredible women and I want what they have to rub off on me.

Then I have those people that I have met and spent time with and the truth is the time just seems to fly by when I have a chance to sit and chat with them. Amy Dolan, Danielle Bell, and Gina McClain are three of those people. They have gone from people I admire to people I consider close friends. I love every opportunity I get to spend time with them. They are amazing and I want what they have to rub off on me.

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.

That is the beauty of those people…they rub off. They sharpen you.

My list is growing as I connect and chat with more people each day.
