Grace

Grace.

Such a small word with big meaning.

God gives it freely. I don't have to be worthy of it. I don't have to do anything to earn it. He just gives it to me.
Out of the most extravagant love for me. Not based on me at all, but all about Him. He found me, saved me, and grows me all in grace.
For His glory.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:8

Grace and love go hand in hand with Him. He pursued me to shower both on me. And when I least expect it, I become overwhelmed with the thought of it.

I am His. He is mine. Everything in my life flows out of that love. Every gift of grace is from Him.

An Affirmation of Grace

Because of God's grace...

I am secure, forgiven, accepted, and loved forever by God.

I am always in God's audience, united with Christ, and indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

I stand in extravagant grace, the perfect environment for spiritual growth.

I am blessed with every spiritual blessing and have everything I need.

I am God's beautiful masterpiece, designed for His purposes and plans.

I have the hope of heaven, where I will live with Christ forever.

I believe it, receive it, and live it.

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
2 Peter 3:18

  5. I never really grasped the concept of "Grace" until God told me to give it.... to someone who had hurt me... Someone so undeserving... out of love... because that's what He gave me. Total mind blow!! It's hard for me to do it that one time... Considering I'm a repeat offender and God is a perpetual grace giver... It blows my mind!! How Great doesn't begin to describe...

    Love this post, Wendy!
