Too Busy to Be Still

Be still and know that I am God! Psalm 46:10a

"Be still? Seriously? I am way too busy to be still." Isn't that what we think to ourselves sometimes when we hear that verse?

I was thinking today about Martha and Mary. Luke 10:40 Martha is distracted with preparations, but in verse 38 Mary was sitting at the feet of Jesus and was listening to His teaching. Martha was missing out on the good stuff being too busy.

May I never be too busy to sit at His feet. I want to more like Mary today.
