Great reading...

Have been reading a really great book called "Touch" by Rudy Rasmus. Here is just a bit of what it is about...

"I believe that Jesus Christ came to show the love of God to all people-the apparently powerful and the admittedly powerless-but after His ascension into heaven on that hillside 2000 years ago, His Spirit operates in the hearts of His people so that we become His mouth to speak grace and truth, His ears to listen to others' hopes and fears, His eyes to notice needs, His feet to go to them, and His hands to touch them with His care. When we show love to people who have the capacity to love us back, that's fine, but it's really no big deal. When we love the unlovely, expecting nothing in return, we touch the heart of God, and He smiles at us."
